Description |
Actions |
Related Activities |
This section contains all the released activities related to the Case instance. |
Click on the required activity and perform the necessary action. The Case Overview and Activity Overview tabs are displayed. For more information on the various actions that can be performed on the activities, refer to Working with Inbox.
- Case Overview: Contains the overview of the Case form that is defined during the Case modeling. For more information on setting the Case overview form during the Case modeling, refer to Case Model Properties.
- Activity Overview: Contains the Case activity form that is defined during the Case modeling.
Note:
- By default, the Case Overview tab refreshes while switching between the activities. This behavior can be configured by setting a property through the onAfterOpen hook. Refer to Validations on Task Actions for more information related to configuring hooks.
- The name of the assignee and the attributes that are defined to be displayed as columns in the Inbox while modeling the Inbox model, are displayed in the form of a description below the related activities of a Case activity.
|
Events |
This section contains all the events that are associated with the Case instance as well as the Case activity. |
Select the required events to be triggered and click Trigger Events. |
Followup |
This section contains all the followups to the subsequent actions that can be triggered.
- Intermediate Followups - Activities that must be acted upon before completing the current activity. When this followup is triggered, the current activity is paused and awaits the completion of the intermediate activity. After the intermediate activity is completed, the current activity will be active and the user can resume working on it.
- Free Followups - Activities that have no direct relation to the sequence of the activities. They can be set on any state in the Case model.
- Automatic Followups - Activities that are automatically selected. These followups are automatically triggered if no followups are selected.
- Manual Followups - These followups must be selected manually.
|
Right-click the required intermediate or free followup and select any of the following:
- Trigger and Assign to Me - Triggers the followup and assigns the activity to you; however, the activity does not open immediately as the current working Case activity must not be disturbed. Alternatively, you can double-click the required followup.
Note: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to work on the triggered task.
- Trigger with Default Attributes - Triggers the followup and assigns it as per the attributes specified while modeling the Case.
- Trigger with Custom Attributes - Triggers the followup and allows you to select the attributes such as Assignee Type, Assignee Value, Due On, Priority and so on. Upon selecting this option, a Trigger Followups page appears. Select the required attributes and click OK. For more information on the fields displayed in this page, refer to Selected Followups section.
Note: The automatic and manual followups are triggered only after the task is completed. On clicking to complete the task, the Select Followups page is displayed. For more information on the fields in the Select Followups page, refer to Select Followups Interface.
